Our Training Programs
Our school provides specialized instruction for men, women and children starting at age 5.
Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Belt Program
This program begins at age 7. Students start at the white belt level and progress upward through yellow, green, blue, red and black. Each belt level has it's own curriculum which students must learn before progressing in belt. Advancement is done through quarterly testing by a qualified examiner. Students progress at their own pace.
Although most classes follow a similar structure, each class is different and unique, designed to meet students' needs. Classes begin with a warm-up routine, followed by floor exercises, which focus on technique development. Next, students typically spend a few minutes working independently on their required curriculum, then pair up for a "combinations" workout with a partner. Non-contact free sparring follows this and is always carefully monitored with safety in mind. Classes end with a short cool down and closing exercises.
